What services do you offer?

Engage Occupational Therapy offers services for clients across the lifespan from infants to the aged Adult. 

Engage OT can support clients with a diverse range of clinical needs.  Paediatrics, through to peple with Physical limitations, and those who experience age-related issues. 

Engage OT is no longer seeing Psychosocial clients or clients who are seeking Assistance Animals, as they would be better served with another OT whose scope of practice solely focuses on their demographic.

Engage OT is able to support you if you are accessing our Service Privately, through NDIS (self & plan managed), Work Cover, Medicare, My Aged Care, DVA, TAC etc. 

How do I refer to you?

Please email info@engageot.com for a referral form. 
Additionally, you can call 0435 094 845 to discuss your referral with Engage OT Admin. 

What clients does Shawn see?  And what is his availability?

Shawn works Tuesday to Friday, with late nights appointments available on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. 

Shawn is currently accepting referrals for Hand and Elbow Therapy to Rehabilitation, Splinting, Casting etc. 

How can I find Shawn's clinic?

Shawn works out of the WiSE Specialist Emergency Clinic.

The address is 94b Laver Drive, Robina.

It is next to the Robina Train Station and TAFE. Parking is directly out front.
You can find my waiting room by heading into the ground floor doors, using the stairs or elevator to go up to the 1st floor, then head towards the back of the building.

There will be a L-shaped couch and TV where you can take a seat to wait for Shawn to call on you.

What clients does Ashlee see?  And what is her availability?

Ashlee is working Mondays in 2025. 

Ashlee is currently only taking clients on a waitlist, but there is currently no known date that clients from the waitlist may be able to be seen. You are welcome to email our admin line at info@engageot.com in order to enquire about my waitlist, availability & times.

Ashlee is currently only seeing clients face to face on the Gold Coast (North of Elanora/ Palm Beach & South of Coomera) for face-to-face appointments in the clients home/ daycare/ school/ local area, or seeing clients via Telehealth.

Ashlee is currently only accepting Paediatric, Adult Physical or Elderly clients. She is no longer seeing Psychosocial clients or clients who are seeking Assistance Aniamls, as they would be better served with another OT whose scope of practice solely focuses on their demographic.

Where does Ashlee work out of?

Ashlee does not have a clinic and works out of the community.  She is seeing clients at Home, Daycares/ Schools, or other public places etc. 

Do you travel outside of the Gold Coast?

Ashlee has historically travelled outside of the Gold Coast to see clients. 
We have previously gone to Nth NSW, Brisbane, Scenic RIm (Tamborine, Canungra, Beaudesert etc) etc. 
However, due to availability, this is no longer possible.  
Ashlee is currently only seeing clients within the Coomera to Palm Beach area. 

Are you familiar with the NDIS & its reporting?

Yes, Ashlee is an experienced practitioner in the NDIS.  She has completed Initial Assessments, Plan Review reports, Supported Indepnedent Living (SIL), Individualised Living Options (ILO), Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), and Assistive Technology (AT) reports. 

What if i'm not sure if you're the Occupational Therapist for me/ my loved one/ my client?

Feel free to email info@engageot.com to book in a call to discuss the needs, and see if we are a good fit for each other. 

What are the rates of your services?

This is dependent on the type and compelxity of the work.  Please contact for rates for face to face and non face to face work + rates for travel for Home Visits. 

Are you insured?

Yes, Engage OT is fully covered with Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance. 

What if I need to cancel my Appointment?

Please call or text our Admin on 0435 094 845.  Or please email at info@engageot.com
If you cancel Ashlee after 7am on the day of your session, late-cancellation fees apply. 
If you repeatedly cancel Shawn with late notice, late-cancellation fees apply. 
Please provide as much notice as possible of your cancellation. 
This also applies for if you are a no-show for your appointment. 

What if I am running late for my Appointment?

Please call or text our Admin on 0435 094 845.
If you are running late so that you will not make your session, or only a part of your session, you may be charged for the planned duration of your session. 
If you are running so late that you will not make your appointment, please contact to see if your session can be rescheduled.

Engage OT is a family-run Business based on the Gold Coast.

We see clients from throughout the Gold Coast or via Telehealth.

We were established in 2015, working throughout the Medicare, WorkCover, TAC, Surgery Connect, HCP, DVA & NDIS sectors.

Engage Therapy has been involved in working with people of all ages supporting their ability to live a meaningful life.
